Recruit Profile

"Sound Fundamental lacrosse player. Known for being coachable and a positive team player. Always striving to improve."

Jason normally starts as close defense, but he is second-line LSM and often moves to that position if there is a challenging mid-fielder. Jason is known for his strong work-ethic and has worked hard to develop sound fundamentals and stick-skills and attends speed and agility training sessions several times a week. In the past two years he has played under or trained with Ryan Palasek (D-Syracuse); Jeff Desko (M-Syracuse), Scott Ratliff (LSM-Loyola and Atlanta Blaze), John Zulberti (A-Syracuse). Exposure to this high level of coaching has helped Jason develop a lacrosse IQ that is often ahead of his peers. He is a great communicator on the field and is known for field awareness and generalship. Jason's favorite college team is Syracuse and he is still flexible regarding college size and location. In his spare time, Jason enjoys working out, watching movies, and playing "pick-up" games in most sports. Jason is also an accomplished violinist and previously studied with a member of the Atlanta Symphony orchestra.
