"Nate Norbo was named a men's lacrosse assistant coach in September of 2016."

He comes to Dartmouth after serving as an assistant at Elizabethtown for two seasons. In 2015, he helped mold the defense into one of the best units in Division III, as the team won a school-record 14 games and went on a program best 13-game winning streak en route to earning the top seed in the Landmark Conference Championship. That year, he was part of the Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year. During his time with the Blue Jays, Norbo was part of the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) as a representative for the assistant coaches. He collaborated with other assistants to improve recruiting, film exchange and benefits, and was responsible for voting on various issues. He also worked for iM3 Lacrosse, where he specialized player development for middle and high school players. Norbo got his coaching start at Ferrum College, where he served as defensive coordinator from 2013-14. He worked with the coaching staff on all aspects of team operation, including recruiting, practice plans, scouting reports and video analysis. Norbo began his collegiate career at Fairfield before transferring to Hampden-Sydney. He picked up 130 ground balls over three seasons, appeared on two all-conference teams and was chosen to the All-State Second Team by the Virginia Sports Information Directors in 2011. On Dec. 17, 2015, he was selected by the Charlotte Hounds with the 110th pick in the 13th round of the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Supplemental Draft.
