Coach's Description

For two consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report ranks Emmanuel College as “tier one” among private colleges, which is the highest level of achievement; and U.S. News & World Report also continues to name us one of the “Best Regional Colleges in the South.” As a Christian liberal arts college, Emmanuel College is an ideal place to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually. A lot has happened here in Franklin Springs since last spring. Four new apartment-style residential buildings were recently completed and opened for students. Our inaugural and second recruiting classes have settled in on campus-- the team consists of over fifteen high school team captains, and players have hailed from eleven different states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia) and three different provinces (Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario). Emmanuel was recently accepted as a provisional member of NCAA DII and will be participating in Conference Carolinas next year. The Lion athletic programs just moved in to our brand new, state of the art 80,000 square foot athletic center; and new sport specific fields, one designated just for lacrosse, were just completed. As you can tell, we have all been busy here at Emmanuel creating a dynamic academic and athletic atmosphere for our students and student athletes. Please check out the school’s website www.ec.edu, the athletic website www.goeclions.com (fill out the lacrosse recruiting form), and follow us on Face Book at www.facebook.com/ECLionsMensLacrosse for all things Lions lacrosse. Team Road Trips

The Lions have away games in nearby states like Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina to play opponents like Lincoln Memorial, Lynn University, North Greenville, and Mount Olive.
