Recruit Profile
Selfless, coachable, hard-working player with positive attitude, strong lax IQ & field vision. High academic achiever & three-sport athlete. Well rounded individual with multi club, community & leadership involvement.

Growing up, I could not wait to step onto the lacrosse field. That opportunity came when I was 8 and old enough to do a week long summer camp. I smiled from ear to ear as high school players taught us the basics of the game. That experience propelled my love of the sport. Its quick pace, competitiveness, and team aspect hooked me. Before long I was begging for a bounce back, trying out for a recreation team, then travel, then club and finally, high school. Those years groomed me well. As a freshman, I earned a spot on varsity. On a team with several commits, I was the first midfield sub off the bench, playing a significant amount each match. I was an active contributor playmaking, forcing turnovers and scoring (9 goals including a hat trick in a state tournament contest). I am adept at using my non dominant hand and play scrappy defense earning ground balls. When on the sidelines, you’ll catch me cheering relentlessly!

Sports has always been a big part of my life. As a result, I am a well-rounded athlete. In fact, I just finished my varsity soccer season where we made school history, winning our first ever Group State title. I was a starting midfielder and contributed in our final victory as a goal scorer. During the winter, I play basketball, where quick feet, good reflexes and an eye for the court serve me well. Lastly, I enjoy individual leisure sports too; surfing, skateboarding, and skiing all of which better my balance and agility.

I have enjoyed successes off the field as well. I take all Honors classes and an AP course. My GPA is a 4.47. Outside of academics, I represent my grade in Student Government. Moreover, I am involved in school clubs like Model UN. The annual conference is a tremendous experience for me because I step out of my comfort zone to build new relationships and challenge my mind before unfamiliar audiences. Further, I am a member of the Spanish Club to enhance my grasp of the culture and language. I want to minor in Spanish in college. I participate in community service, help my church, and play piano when time permits. I also work as a camp counselor each summer.

I hope this gives you insight to my character and what I can bring to a collegiate team.
