Adrienne Mellott ’15 enters her 2nd season as an assistant field hockey coach and 3rd year as an assistant women's lacrosse coach in the 2017-18 academic year.

Mellott joined Keystone's coaching staff as an assistant coach for the Giants' field hockey and women's lacrosse programs following an outstanding, four-year playing career as a defender on Keystone's field hockey team.

In the fall of 2017, Mellott helped lead Keystone's field hockey team to a 6-10 overall record and a 3-4 mark in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. The Giants narrowly missed out on their their third-straight CSAC playoff appearnance after suffering a hard-fought 1-0 setback to Marywood University in the regular season finale for both teams. During the regular season, Keystone posted a 2-1 victory over defending CSAC champion Cabrini University.

In her second season as an assistant coach with the women's lacrosse team in the spring of 2017, Mellott helped guide the Giants to their first-ever CSAC playoff appearance as Keystone set program records for both overall and conference wins in a season. The Giants finished the season with a 6-8 overall record including a 4-5 mark in conference play to earn the #6 seed in the postseason tournament.

In the fall of 2016, Mellott helped lead the field hockey team to its second-straight CSAC playoff appearance, marking the first time the Giants earned back-to-back playoff berths since the squad made three straight trips to the postseason from 2008-2010. The Giants finished the year with a 6-11 overall record while going 3-4 in conference play and were defeated in the postseason by top-seeded Gwynedd Mercy University.

In the spring of 2016, Mellott helped lead Keystone's women's lacrosse team to a 4-7 overall record and a 3-6 record in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. The Giants finished just one game out of a CSAC playoff berth after a tough, two-goal loss on the final day of the regular season. Mellott helped mentor three Giants to All-Conference honors following the season.

As a player, Mellott led Keystone’s field hockey team to an outstanding season this past fall as the Giants returned the CSAC playoffs for the first time since 2012 after going 4-3 in conference play. Mellott was named the NCAA Division III Statistical Champion for defensive saves after finishing the year with 20 saves, the most by any play in Divisions I, II, and III. The senior defender was also a First Team All-CSAC honoree for her performance this past season.
