Andy Orlowski enters his 18th season as head coach of the King's College men's lacrosse team in 2019-20, taking over the program in September of 2002.

In his time at King's, Orlowski has built King's into a Freedom Conference contender.

From 2012-through-2015, Orlowski led King's to four straight Freedom Conference Tournament berths where the Monarchs fell in the semi-finals. In the 2013, he guided the Monarchs to a program-best 10-4 record and qualified for the post-season for the second straight season, falling in the semi-finals. In 2012, Orlowski led King's to the second seed in the Freedom Conference tournament. The Monarchs eventually fell in the semi-finals in overtime but he was still voted 2012 Freedom Conference "Coach of the Year" by his peers.

Orlowski has produced 32 MAC/Freedom Conference selections during his tenure while also assuring his players get the job done academically as 80 of his players have eafrned MAC Academic Honor Roll status for posting a GPA of 3.20 or higher.

A native of Athol Springs, NY, Orlowski is a 1992 graduate of St. Francis High School where he was a standout lacrosse player and led his team to the sectional finals. He was also a member of St. Francis’ ice hockey team.

He then attended Elmira College where he was a four-year starter in lacrosse and was named team defensive most valuable player in 1995 and 1996. He was a team captain in 1994 and was named to the All-Empire Conference all-star team as a senior. Orlowski earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education from Elmira in 1996.

Upon graduating from Elmira, Orlowski began his coaching career in 1997 at Amherst High School, Amherst, NY where he was the head junior varsity coach. In 2000, he moved on to The Pennington School, Pennington, NJ, where he was a full-time teacher and head boy’s lacrosse coach. In 2001, he guided Pennington to a 10-3 record and the New Jersey Prep State “B” semifinals. In 2002, he again led Pennington to the state semi-finals. Orlowski had three players named All-Bianchi Conference all-stars.

He and his wife Alicia reside in nearby Shickshinny with their son Wyatt and daughter Colbie.
