Ben Menard enters his first season as assistant men's lacrosse coach at Piedmont in the fall of 2020.

Menard comes to Piedmont after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant coach and recruiting specialist at Western New England University.

Menard specialized in recruiting efforts while also helping to develop offensive, goalie, face-off, and wing personnel. He also assisted with daily tasks including practice planning, recruiting, game day preparation, scouting, and budgeting.

Menard has had multiple coaching opportunities during his career including serving as Interim Head Coach at Northfield Mount Hermon School in the spring of 2018. He also served as an assistant at his alma mater Springfield in 2017-18 after earning his start in lacrosse coaching at American International College in 2016-17.

He also has experience with the Boys and Girls Club providing lacrosse instruction and spent one season as an assistant high school golf coach during his collegiate career.

Menard was a four-year member of the Springfield men's lacrosse team.

He earned his bachelor of science in movement sport studies with a minor in coaching from Springfield College in 2016. He completed his master's degree in sport leadership and coaching in 2020 from Western New England University.

Menard will assist Head Coach Tim Dunton in all facets of the men's lacrosse program.
