Emma Richards-Smith
Recruit Profile
Coachable, team player, determined, athletic, aggressive
I started playing lacrosse my freshman year. At the end of my freshman year, I found out I was playing on a torn ACL for 1.5 years. I got ACL/meniscus reconstruction surgery and was required to take a full year recovery. I resumed lacrosse my junior year and decided to play club. I haven't been playing lacrosse for that long compared to other girls but I am improving exponentially. I am lucky to be a gifted athlete, so a lot of things come easy to me, and I am willing to work hard. I am a strong defender (my main sport for ten years was basketball), and I am quick on the field. I weight train twice a week to stay strong, I occasionally do triathlons for cardio and I play field hockey for my school. Lacrosse is what I want to do in college, and I will improve more and more as time goes on.
