Recruit Profile
A passionate aggressive multi-sport athlete with a strong lacrosse IQ-disciplined, quickfeet, great endurance and an coachable team player. Gives 100% on and off field.

Hi, I am Heather Clark and I am a sophomore at New Fairfield High School in Connecticut. I am the youngest of four children, all who have a passion for sports and working out. I put 100% effort into everything I do, whether it be on the field or in the classroom. I am a versatile player, very comfortable playing both offense and defense. I have been playing lacrosse for 9 years and club lacrosse for 3 1/2 years.

In my freshman year, I made the varsity field hockey team as a starting midfielder, earning the honors of All-Conference All Academic, All-Conference Honorable Mention, and the 2018 Varsity Rookie of the year. I earned a lacrosse varsity spot as a midfield player for the New Fairfield Varsity 3x CT State Championship team & 2x SWC/Patriot league team. In 2019, we won the CT state championship for the third year in a row. Additionally in 2019, I participated with the USA Field Hockey Futures program for the Northeast and practiced with my club field hockey team. In the fall of my sophomore year, I started as varsity center forward on my field hockey team. I earned All SWC-Patriot postseason honors and was the leading scorer for varsity. This winter, I will participate in the USA Futures for the 2020 field hockey and HTC Club field hockey. My best sports attribute would be my speed and endurance. I am a 2x All State hurdler and 2x All Conference hurdler for the years 2018 & 2017 in MS track and field, holding the school record for 4x100 with some of my teammates.

In freshman year, I took all honors classes and earned an academic 4.0 GPA, high honors. For sophomore year, I am also in all honors and doubled up on my health science classes. I am a volunteer Rebel Ambassador for my high school and have raised money annually for the local New Fairfield Veterans Association. Some of my other school activities/clubs are the the science club, math club, Italian club and also ski club. During my free time, I participate in speed training, hang out with my friends and my two German Shepherds.

Heather is a tenacious team and take away defender. She is impactful on the draw circle and in transition. She consistently wins 50/50 matchups both on balls on the ground and in the air. She is a great teammate and a pleasure to coach!

Heather is a strong defender with extraordinary endurance. She is one of the hardest workers on and off the field, making sure she is in the best shape on the field and in the classroom. Wouldn't want to play a game without her.

Heather is a very special athlete who thrives on improving her skills and her understanding of the game. She is a very strong 1v1 player with quick feet and the ability to get down field quickly on transition and find her teammates. Incredibly coachable and team oriented.
