Kyle Morris

Kyle Morris has been named the new Oglethorpe men's lacrosse assistant coach and offensive coordinator, and will begin his duties immediately.
Morris worked for Shorter, a Division II school located in Rome, Georgia, where he served as a graduate assistant, in addition to working with Taylor in Chattanooga. While at Shorter, he worked closely with the goalies, while also designing skill-building drills and helping out with recruiting. The Hawks finished 8-7 the season that Morris worked there as a graduate assistant. He also helped to found his high school's lacrosse program in Florida. He played for Wekiva High School for two seasons after he helped raise funds and recruit players for the team. He still holds several records at the school, including marks for saves in a season and saves in a game, as well as points in a season and goals in a game. Morris graduated from Shorter with a bachelor of fine arts. While there, he scored the first goal in the history of the Hawks lacrosse program and set the school single-game goal-scoring record with eight.
