Lindsay Cornue

A native of Seneca Falls NY, Cornue came to the University of Rochester in 2014 and is now in her sixth season with the Yellowjackets in 2019.

She spent the 2010-11 season as Interim Head Coach at Division I Fresno State University. Prior to that, she was the defensive assistant coach for the Bulldog's lacrosse team under the direction of head coach Sue Behme. Before heading to Fresno State University, Cornue spent two years as the assistant coach at Nazareth College from 2006-08.

On the field, she was a 4-year starting defender playing for Behme at Nazareth College. Cornue (then Gotham) was a 1st Team All-American as well as a 4-time 1st Team Empire Eight All-Star and was named the conference Rookie of the Year in 2002. She earned Empire Region All-American 1st Team honors in 2005 and 2nd Team accolades in 2003 and 2004. She was 1st Team All-State for three seasons and was selected to participate in the North/South Senior All-Star game in 2005. Cornue was inducted into the Nazareth College Athletics Hall of Fame in September of 2013.

While playing for the Golden Flyers, she participated in three NCAA Tournaments, coming in 2002, 2004 and 2005, with Nazareth winning the Empire 8 in the '05 campaign.

Cornue holds a bachelor's degree from Nazareth College in Psychology and currently works for the Greece Central School District.
