Lindsey-Kate Smith

Lindsey-Kate Smith is in her second season as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Rowan University.

Smith came to Glassboro after serving as an assistant at Division II Florida Institute of Technology for two years (2014-16). The Panthers went 17-16 in her two seasons on the coaching staff and qualified for the Sunshine State Conference Championship Tournament in both campaigns.

From 2010-12, Smith was on the coaching staff at her alma mater, Saint Joseph’s University. She was a graduate assistant for the women’s lacrosse program from 2008-10. The Hawks reached the Atlantic 10 Championship Game in 2009.

Smith played for the Hawks from 2005-08. She is the program’s all-time leader with 151 ground balls and ranks second with 65 assists, seventh with 56 caused turnovers and eighth with 140 points. Smith was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference second team and was chosen the team’s Most Outstanding Performer in 2008. A two-time team captain, she was first on the team in assists all four seasons.

In addition to her coaching experience, Smith has been a lacrosse camp counselor at the Marlton Recreation Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from St. Joe’s in 2008 and a master’s in applied behavior analysis in 2010.
