Tim Rotanz

Tim Rotanz joined the LIU men's lacrosse coaching staff in fall 2019 as an assistant coach.

Rotanz will work primarily with the offensive unit for the Sharks.

Rotanz comes to LIU after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Marquette University for one season.

Outside of his coaching career, Rotanz brings a wealth of playing experience to Brookville. He currently plays professional lacrosse in the Premiere Lacrosse League for Whipsnakes LC, appearing in four games during the 2019 season. A 2018 graduate of the University of Maryland, Rotanz won a National Championship with the Terrapins in 2017 and earned All-America accolades twice. Appearing in 70 games during his tenure, Rotanz amassed 109 points behind 67 goals and 42 assists. His 33 goals as a junior rank 12th all-time at Maryland, while his 11 goals during the 2017 NCAA Tournament rank fourth and helped him earn all-tournament team honors during the championship run.
